Summer is on the way and Wonder in Nature is ready to bloom!
From autumn, through winter into spring - Sophie shares some of the journey….
So what was needed to nurture the idea of sharing Nature Mindfulness through Wonder in Nature and help it grow? Firstly a gathering together of my instincts and skills, harvesting the fruits of the seasons, and considering what else was needed.
I signed up for Nature Mindfulness Guide training. In autumn, my favourite season, I began to learn to observe more deeply and mindfully the subtleties and wonder in nature as the seasons flow and change. I spent so much time wandering happily outdoors in nature enjoying the variety of colours, sounds and winds of autumn. Exploring further and noticing the shift into winter, colder temperatures, short, dark days. A time for hibernating, making plans and building foundations for emerging again in the spring.
Spring crept in gently, quietly, almost shyly, but little buds were beginning to show, testing the environment preparing to emerge fully when the time was right. It was the same for Wonder in Nature developing through sharing Nature Mindfulness with lovely people and gathering feedback to help shape the services we are now able to offer.
