Sitting mindfully under trees, hearing the birds singing, noticing the gorgeous autumn colours of the leaves and feeling a gentle breeze I took a deep breath of the fresh air and gave back a grateful sigh! It was one of those days! Being mindfully present in nature was the only place I wished to be! Feelings of peace, harmony, joy! Another grateful sigh…

“If only I could stay here always!”

“Maybe I can?”

That is how the seed was sown!

This picture sums me up really – always happiest in the natural environment!

I have been fortunate enough to have lived in some beautiful places, including Devon as a child and Gloucestershire as an adult. I am a wanderer by nature and love exploring through walking and travelling on adventures in my campervan.

I start my days mindfully by meditating in nature, listening to bird song, feeling the breeze with a cup of coffee of course!

Life has not always been simple, but along the way I have discovered that time spent in the natural environment always calms my mind and restores balance to my spirit and soul.

I am proud that my professional working career has been in services meeting fundamental needs within communities - something I wish to continue. However over the years my work had become remote and predominantly desk based - I was losing touch with my true nature, spirit and soul!

2024 was a year of transformation for me, providing opportunities to change my ways of working and find a better work and life balance alignment. I have been blessed to receive training and develop experience in Nature Mindfulness Guiding and Sound Relaxations. Exploring these areas is a fascinating ongoing journey of discovery which is allowing me to develop my own unique offer through Wonder in Nature.

It is a joy to be able to offer to share with people deeper connections with nature, their own and the natural environment, by guiding through the senses, helping bring some tranquility to busy lives and enhancing general wellbeing.
